Greater Boston Stage Company has the longest running, year-round theatre education program of any professional, regional theatre in the Boston Metro North area. Each year, over 300 children participate in acting classes, dance lessons, voice lessons, and fully produced performance opportunities through The Young Company. These include Summer Festival, Winter Festival, Masterclass workshops, 24-Hour Musical, and a Spring Cabaret.
Our financial aid program, Fund-a-Need, gives approximately $20,000 in scholarships each year to students who may be experiencing financial challenges but are interested in participating in the programming The Young Company offers. No student is ever turned away.
Your gift to our Fund-a-Need initiative enables more students to benefit from the supportive and artistic environment created by The Young Company and all our arts education programming. The enormous benefits children gain from being involved in the Arts cannot be overstated.
